Meet Julia Shcherbakova

Hello! I'm glad you came to visit my website. I'm Julia Shcherbakova, a Melbourne based artist.

I love working and creating with oil and acrylics.

Through my art, I’m trying to communicate melancholy and beauty of the moment. For this I often prefer to use faded and dimmed colors.

I love my paintings tell a short story. But also trying to achieve almost an imperfection, a sense of incompleteness so when one’s looking at it there’s a space for a dream and escape. I explore through my art that forgotten feeling and passion that connects to those scenes and images that echo from the past.

At the moment, I mostly focus on making fine paintings and wall pieces with oil and acrylics.
