This landscape painting from Australia is inspired by my childhood memories of Russian winter and the little woods near my house where she used to ski as a teenager. The fog and pines take you far away on a misty cloudy day in the middle of winter. You can boil your hot tea, sit in the chair wrapped in a blanket and think of your childhood or maybe daydream about your future.
